Ole Samara Resort is a lovely, serene place to relax, reflect, re-energize and enjoy nature.
We are 13 kilometres south of Nanyuki town just off the Nyeri-Nanyuki Highway. Our signature lodging facilities are three luxury tents with large showers, bathtubs, very spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, dining areas and living rooms with fireplaces. In addition, there are six guest suites three of which have private kitchens. We offer our guests complimentary full breakfast, teas and coffee during their stay.
Our tranquil 12-acre compound includes nature trails leading down to the Burguret River.
If you are a nature- lover, you will enjoy the varied indigenous vegetation and prolific bird life in our compound.
There is a lot to do when you stay with us. You may go on game drives in the surrounding wildlife conservancies, visit the animal orphanage at Fairmont Hotel, do horse-riding and mountain biking or play golf in the neighbourhood, hike to Mount Kenya, visit Ngare Ndare forest, go trout fishing on River Buruguret, charter a plane to any far-flung wildlife park in Kenya accessible by air or enjoy nature walking within Ole Samara or visit our neighbour, the renowned Trout Tree Restaurant to eat out, or do so further on in Nanyuki Town.
